So, we moved. Yep, 2 years and 3 months ago. Yes, I'm a bit behind on this whole blog thing, but I'm trying. In my defense, I've THOUGHT about writing a blog post many times in these past 2+ years. Doesn't that count? Anyway, due to lots of reasons that I won't bore you with, we sold our home in New York and packed 4 people, 3 cats, 1 dog and enough luggage and snacks for 2 weeks into our Prius and drove down to North Carolina to start our new life. Now, if you're having trouble imagining all those people, animals and luggage fitting into a Prius, that's for good reason. We were NOT comfortable, but we WERE on an adventure. We decided that since there was a 2 week gap in time between selling our NY home and moving into our NC rental, we would travel around the south and see some of the more historic areas.
